Immigration over the past seven years was the highest for any seven-year period in U.S. history, bringing 10.3 million new immigrants, more than half of them without legal status, according to an analysis of census data released by the Center for Immigration Studies in Washington.
How is our system going to pay for social services for these illegals? We can’t even afford to build levees or new bridges, or even fund the senseless war!

Our system is broke the way it is now, paying for the people that have entered into the states. We need stronger border control. We supposedly say NO to drugs, why not say NO to illegals. There has to be a point where enough is enough. We are the so called melting pot….well I think our pot of gold has just about melted. Things are so out of balance and have gotten out of control letting so many in over the years. Now we have to try to put a halt to illegals entering. Alot of headache,,,to figure out just what is going to be right, but we have to figure something out. When you find out the answer, let me know.
couldnt agree with you more littleturtles. i try to write my congress women at fairus.org every day. thats one way to get the attention of the political leaders. this is one of the biggest crisis that we face today as it affects america on all fronts from just houseing millions more people and the drain that they have on our system and ecosystem to the effect on our schools and other public institutions. the reality of the situation is that big money wants cheap labor and that they pay for our congress peoples elections so we have very little we can do. only write and call our representatives. its what i do.
