I would say both. Having the experience and being open to change, new ideas, very important. They go hand in hand. A person with strength, values and the heart to feel differences in people.
Should be interesting this next year watching all candidates plow their way though all the obstacles they have to overcome to try to make it to the top.
Right now at the rate all of them are going, it looks pretty pathetic. I really do not see a very strong candidate in either party. Perhaps that will change as time goes on, and they really heated up. yeah!
